New House!

In case you didn't notice at what this particular blog title suggests, me and some fellow university peers have a new house in Weston for our second year, so I am very excited indeed! :)

This house located very ideally in Weston as we are 5-10 minute walk away from uni, town centre and, of course, the beach and also have Tesco Express on the road next to us! I personally haven't seen the property but a couple of my housemates have and say it is perfect!

It is a massive 5 bedroom Victorian house, complete wi - oh fuck it, I'll just show the house plan that the legendary Jamie Ruther had kindly drew up for us!

Hell to the yeah! :)

As it is unfurnished, we may struggle financially in the first month, but in the long run, it will be so worth it and cheaper and isn't with rip-off merchants Skylight!!

(I do realise reading back on this that I have used an exclamation mark after every sentence, but I don't care, I'm so excited!!!!!!!!! ) :D

Welcome back!

I know, it's been a while, truth be told I just haven't been arsed to write anything...

Since you last viewed my blog, a lot has happened to me e.g. performed in the end of year show and finishing my first year of uni! Just figured I'd write something, and you may have noticed some changes about my blog (appearance and title to something more witty and appealing).

Since leaving Weston-super-Mare for the summer I have missed my friends ridiculous amounts. I find myself being bored constantly since I do not have a job to distract me from this. Roll on September. I want to go back Weston soon to see people, but I have no money at the moment. I have only one word to say about this.... Poo.

Pokemon SoulSilver ^_^ Makes meee happyy

Hiii!

Soo...I will talk about my super awesome Easter holidays which were actually wasted on playing Pokemon SoulSilver for Nintendo DS, when I was actually meant to write my 2000 word Chekhov essay which is worth 50% of my Contextual Studies grade...whoopsie! :)


It is one of the best games I have played in a very long time and is very nostalgic! This remake of the classic orginal Pokemon versions Gold and Silver is absolutely brilliant! It's a new spin-off for the Pokemon series with so many cool new features, but still keeps with the original story line, giving me the nostalgic experience.

Since returning home to find this game, I have played it soo much. I now have all 16 badges collected from Johto and Kanto, and am training up for the final epic battle with Red (who is very strong)

Dan Brown

Well hello again!

Right the last blog I wrote was on Saturday 6th March which means it has been a fateful six days where a new exciting installment of the legendary Rob Brown was 'blogged' (which contradicts my statement in my previous blog where I said I would have lots more material...) However, this has not been mine own fault as I, sadly, have had no internet connection at my home in ("the charmingly delightful") Weston-super-[night]Mare.
Rightio, without further ado, I will present the actual intention of this particular blog, Dan Brown


He in mine eyes is a bloody fantastique author!! He has to be one of my favourite authors. I find his stories very thrilling and at the same time educational (he makes me feel really clever because I understand lots of complicated theories and historical stories without making it boring!)

I love the way he combines science and religion in unimaginable ways and makes me really think about how we got here and all of that. His writing style is a little bit complicating but it is very attention grabbing and it makes it feel like it is actually a film!

So, would I recommend that you read Dan Brown's books? HELL YEAH! If you're looking for a thrilling read filled with deception, murder, secrets and much suspense, Dan Brown is for you! (Bloody hell, I sounded like one of those American advert things!)

Blog

First things first...I'm really sorry that I have not posted a blog for ages and caused you all bitter disappointment! I really lack creative inspiration :P

I will, however, make an effort from now on, for you all! Even if I write a blog on the random subject of the Theory of Relativity or poo for that matter, it will be there, so stay tuned.

Right, so...uni?

Everything is tits up at the moment due the lack of our legends, David Tucker and Steven Hyde and is depressing pretty much everyone on the course including me. Team Dave and Steve!!
I have thinking about leaving but, you know what, all of my Uni mates are awesome! They are reason I am still here and look forward to every day! I really love you all so much! And I will not give up my dream! I've given up too much to give up now! :D

Great start to the month! ... Darn you crumpets!!! :P

Today, I have done something quite stupid :P

I had some frozen crumpets and I decided I would toast some. They were stuck together, so I used a knife to seperate. Then I finally freed them and at the same time, stabbed myself quite deeply in the hand (OOOWWW!)

So I went to College to see if the nurse could fix it but she said it was so deep, I had to go to hospital to have the wound glued shut... :/ Perfect.

So it was off to the hospital and they sorted me out. Not allowed to get my hand wet for 7-10 days...

Oopsy! All because I wanted some crumpets!

What a night...

Last night was pretty hectic (the most people I've ever seen out in Weston!) but very good nonetheless :D

First went on a hunt for Jamie and found him in a very crowded Yates and had a good dance. Then went to Xclusive to find Charlotte, Jack, Chris, Alice, Andy and Ben where Jack had bought a shot of absinthe (which didn't affect me at all :P)
Then to Seven where we danced and sung the night awayy!!

Brilliant :)

Today I managed to finish my Miss Julie prompt book (Yay!!) and make a start on my summative prompt (More yay!!)

The only downers on me at the moment is I broke a guitar string :( and now I'm pretty bored...

Anyway that's it from me for the moment

Trying to work and kept being distracted by the things around me and then I actually knuckle down and do something and someone decides to invade my privacy and distract me!!

First Post

Hey! This is my first post! (You should applaud at this point)

First things first, I am student which means there will be many things I will rant and rave about on this blog... But don't let that fool you - I am actually a happy person in general and full of love :)

So here goes...

Financial problems (quite a classic in student life)...

Student Finance England seem to think that because my parents earn quite a bit of money, I should only be entitled to £912 a term and if you consider that my rent is £370 a month, than that leaves me poor a lot of the time because it doesn't even cover my rent :/
Thus begins my misery :( Although my parents are quite happy to give me money, it's not fair because there are 7 other people to think about in my family! It's so depressing. And what annoys me more is the fact that I can't get a job because there are rarely any around and when I apply for one, it gets ignored :(

I've just got to get on with it, things will work out fine soon, I'm sure.
